The Hi/Lo Blackjack game is one that has an arrangement similar to most types of blackjack games but the biggest part of the game comes from a special side bet that you can use. This is a feature that can give you a great shot at winning something extra depending on your luck.
Drawing Rules
This game uses two 52-card decks that are always shuffled before each round starts. This is to ensure that the cards are as random as possible.
The goal, like with any other blackjack game, is to get a better total than the dealer so long as it doesn’t go over 21. This game does have a unique feature that makes it different from what you might expect elsewhere.
This comes in the form of a side bet that is typically worth the same amount as your original bet although you may have the option to go a little higher depending on where you play. This side bet works in that you will have to place some chips on one of three options before the game starts.
You can choose from one of three different betting choices at this point:
- You can take the Lo bet which means your hand will feature a total from 2 to 12. You will get a 1-to-1 payout on this.
- You can also bet a Hi for stating that your hand will be from 14 to 21. This also has a 1-to-1 payout.
- The 13 bet states that you will get exactly 13 on your hand. This will result in a 10-to-1 payout.
